Only place we go with our Fords, Terrible experiences at the Corwin and Don Vance stores, 1st trip there made us know this was our place to go. The part was on backorder but they were honest with us and showed us estimated eta from ford so that we knew up front we were going to be down 1 car for an extended time. Logan was an incredible person to help me decide on a vehicle. I had been to numerous dealers in person by text and by email. He was by far the most responsive I felt like he was honest I felt like he wasn’t just interested in selling me something he had everything coordinated when I did decide to buy the process seemed seamless even though I know there was so much work behind the scenes, he was so kind and gentle and so informed about the vehicles he had available. Tom was also incredible when I was getting ready to leave with my new vehicle he spent time after the dealership had closed to show me different options on my dashboard, it was invaluable. Awesome car buying experience! Purchased a 2023 New Ford Maverick was excellent. My sales person, Brett, was very helpful and there was absolutely no pressure or hassles. James River Ford staff put the fun back into buying a car. Tony, Chris, Tyler B. and Tyler N. each provided me with blue ribbon service. It all began with Tony--it was 6:45 pm, 18-degrees, with snow and ice from the day covering everything. On such a cold evening he gave me a warm and sincere greeting as he came out onto the lot as he approached my car. Tony made it easy--he asked if I knew what kind of a car I wanted and if I had a budget in mind as to what I could afford to spend. I had answers to both questions and Tony took it from there! He offered to show me two vehicles and was willing to scrape the snow and ice from the vehicles. I returned the following evening and Tony had the vehicles prepped and ready for test-driving. Tony clearly had MY best interests in mind and I felt he did his best to get me the best car for what I could spend. I came back two additional evenings to finalize the purchase. In addition to feeling welcomed by Tony, the overall feeling I had while being inside the dealership was calming and relaxed. All staff that I encountered were friendly and courteous. Chris, the finance manager, worked hard to help me get the best (lowest) financial option that was available. Like Tony, Chris was courteous and thoughtful and above all else, patient with me as I was doing my research and making my decisions. I highly recommend the Sales Team at James River Ford. They were very upfront on pricing, fair and transparent. We felt like family. The Sales Manager, Logan was highly engaged from the time we arrived until we took delivery alongside his salesperson. Our Test drive, Negotiation, and paperwork only took about an hour to complete.
