Ford Scheduled Maintenance Guide

Some Ford services are required more frequently than others, such as oil and filter changes. These are the services that will keep your engine running strong around Branson, so you should never skip or delay them. In addition to oil changes, the following routine services and inspections act as the foundation for your recommended Ford maintenance schedule:

Ford Service Every 7,500–10,000 Miles

  • Oil and filter change
  • Tire rotation
  • Multi-point inspection
  • Lubricate unsealed joints
  • Brake and parking brake inspections
  • Exhaust system and cooling system inspections

When your vehicle reaches 100,000 miles, it’s a major milestone. You should continue scheduling your 7,500 to 10,000-mile services, but after this point there are some other important services that should be done as well:

Every 100,000 miles

  • Replace spark plugs

Every 120,000 miles

  • Replace engine air filter

Every 140,000 miles

  • Inspect accessory drive belts

Every 150,000 miles

  • Replace accessory drive belts
  • If manual transmission, replace fluid
  • Replace orange coolant
  • Change engine air filter

Ford Service & Warranty Options

All new Ford vehicles come with generous factory and powertrain warranties that help cover some of your Ford service. From the purchase date, you get 3 years/36,000 miles of factory warranty coverage and 5 years/60,000 miles of powertrain warranty coverage. When these warranties end, there are other options available to help you keep up with your long-term Ford scheduled maintenance guide. Here are some options for consideration:

  • PowertrainCARE: Get coverage for 29 components within the engine, transmission, RWD, and FWD.
  • BaseCARE: The BaseCARE Service Plan covers 84 components, with the addition of steering, brakes, front suspension, A/C and heating, and electrical components.
  • ExtraCARE: Tech and convenience features like keyless entry and power window motors are all included in this plan, which covers a total of 113 components!
  • PremiumCARE: For the ultimate Ford service experience, the PremiumCARE plan covers over 1,000 components.
